It does not matter what anybody else thinks, thinks or does – it is what you do that matters.

So many times in our lives we get caught up in what everyone thinks of us or what people maybe saying about us when we are not around and it destroys the way we feel about ourselves. Now I love my job but I find myself getting caught up in what one person is saying about me at work. I keep telling myself it doesn't matter but her mean spirit and hate of life just frustrate me to the point I allow her and what she is saying about me when I'm not around anger me. However then I remember all that matters is that I DO the best job I can when I'm at work and what she thinks of me will not really matter. Sure we care what our bosses think or friends, family or significant others but really as long as we are doing what is right for us and in our lives then the people who really love and care about us will think only good things of us.

So the new year as brought on tons of new business to my properties and I find myself very busy. I love having a pile of work in front of me and the feeling of accomplishment when I leave at the end of the day knowing I got it all done. I had a visit from one of my corporate bosses today and I really enjoy the satisfaction of hearing him tell the general manager that he does not have have to worry about sales and marketing because he has a great Director of Sales on the job.

Another day of keeping with my new year new body resolution and what they say is true the more you workout the easier it gets. I actually found myself today doubting my ability to do a exercise but I did it and it felt great. I did find myself in meetings all afternoon and didn't get to go get a healthy lunch so ended up eating two pieces of the free pizza from Jets and it was delicious! It was not the best choice for me but how long can a diet last if you give up all things you love and don't indulge every now and again. Besides I was down another pound today at weight in even after the pizza.

I love days Keith does not work late we get to actually have dinner together and tonight he made a nice dinner which featured one of my favorites...STEAK! He cooked it on our new George Foreman my mom got him for Christmas and I highly recommend the new Foreman to everyone! It's really nice and easy to clean plus has enough space to cook two giant steaks at the same time. Then after dinner I stuck with my resolution to keep up with my house work and I must say it feels nice to have our place starting to be in order and finally finding a place for everything.

Time to watch some Modern Family and this is a show that I suggest everyone watch! It's hysterical and I cannot think of anyone who would not enjoy the humor!

Today's Bible Verse is:

"And Jesus said unto them ... , "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to younder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you." Romans 1:17

The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person's determination.

A person's determination can make or break someone. I know we all face moments everyday in our lives that our determination can cause success or momentary failure. I woke up this morning and saw all the snow on the cars and looked at the temperature outside and really just wanted to stay home. Sure I had a minor set back by cold outside affect me and I curled up in my blanket and fell back asleep. However I got up got ready for work and went on my way. I could have lost the determination to go to work but I really love my job and am greatful even on my most hectic days there that I have a job. Some days I talk to rude travel planners and somedays I'm on the phone all day booking new clients regardless of what the day may bring I love my job and I realize it is a blessing and the answers of many many prayers.

Determination has also played a role in keeping with New Years Resolution #2 and I'm happy to say I've dropped 6.2 pounds! I used to hate the idea of scheduling in a work out or skipping all my favorite foods but I'm more motivated then ever to finally be in a body that not only makes me happy but is healthy. I love my daily workouts and I've grown to enjoy all the new healthier foods I've been trying. Now I just have to actually use my years worth of tanning my Dad got me for Christmas and I will be thin and tan! I think that's a great combo!

This new year I also want to value the people who are in my life more. I want to spend time with the people who support me when I'm down and laugh with me on good days. I want to create memories with the ones I love. I realized yesterday that some people in my life you can do something little for and it means a lot to them and others you can really help them out and it means nothing at all. I want to focus on spending more time with the ones who value me as much as I value them.

I need to end today's blog and go clean some which is part of New Year's Resolution #3 however if this snow does not end it may take awhile before I get to New Years Resolution #4 and that will make Hoarders on wheels very sad!

I'm going to end my blogs from now on with a inspirational quote or bible passage because I like sharing uplifting things with others.

"We love Him because He first loved us." 1 John 4:9-10

Snow Snow Snow All I See Is Snow!!

Today was my first day back to work of the new year and I must say other then the hour drive to work and home from work in the snow of doom it was a great day.

I have worked really hard in my life for the job I have now however never did I realize that I would really enjoy it as much as I do. I spent the day being a selling machine and sticking to New Years Revolution #1 I was really organized and also managed my time well. It was great to actually meet my weekly budget goal on my first day of the work week.

Well as the blog is titled SNOW SNOW SNOW... It has been a awful snowy North East Ohio day today. So many days I wake up just wanting to crawl back in bed but today after I went outside to warm up my car for my drive to work I really wanted to get back in bed. I do have to give the City of Middleburg Height's credit for really making sure their roads are clear and taken care of. Now the City of North Royalton on the other hand needs to freshen up on their plowing skills.

This maybe a new year but as always the problems from the previous year have not just disappeared at midnight on New Years Eve. I hope that my friends who are experiencing rough times right now or who need a listening ear know that I am here for them. I'm sure many of their family or friends also feel the same way I do. I also hope everyone knows how special they really are!

Well time to end this blog since Days is almost over and Wii Fit time will begin! I must say for my fellow Days fans today's episode was rather boring!

Welcome to 2010

2009 has come to a end and I must say many are overjoyed that it is behind us but I have to say 2009 was a good year for me! I moved in with Keith and I got a new amazing job!

Sure like many other years it had its ups and its downs! Keith and I realized while driving to his Uncle's funeral the other day that it was our fourth funeral in 2009. I also got news from Florida that our dog Kelsey died this year too! It was a record year for me on the fact I was only in the emergency room twice in 2009!

I must say I am ready for a fresh start in 2010! I will not name my resolutions but I really plan on keeping a active blog this year one my progress in the year! I'm sure soon anyone who reads will be able to pick up on what my resolutions for 2010 are!

I hope everyone has a great year and with the new year already in progress I hope everyone can at least find one memory from 2009 they remember a life time!

Ignorance not Knowledge......

While doing some of my normal scanning of the Plain Dealer today I came across this story! Then I read the comments left by people about the story and it made me sick! It's people like them who make it so rape victims never come forward and forever live their lives hiding this painful event in their past. I am sure some girls do make stuff up and I'm sure not all guys are guilty but to assume it was some sort of relationship gone bad or anything like that is ridiculous. How many people did they discourage from coming forward about being raped. People ignorance and prejudging nature drive me insane! This poor girl living six years with this horrible secret decided to come forward for no other reason then to protect her sister. People have a tendency to do for others what they should do for themselves. I'm betting the idea of her younger sister being in contact or near the man that has caused her six years of distress and pain was more then she could handle so she came forward to protect someone she loves. However ignorant people decided to not reward her strength but instead put her down or accuse her of lying. I applaud this girl for coming forward in doing so she did not just protect her sister from this man but any woman or young girl he comes in contact with.

Not saying he didn't do it, but why wouldn't she go to the police when it did happen instead of 6 years later? I am thinking maybe it was a relationship that went sour.

According to another article she came forward because her younger sister will be a student there next year.

It sounds a little like BS - I mean if I were raped I would report it and granted she may have a little sister going there, but who knows if she would have him as a teacher? I agree with the above poster that it was a relationship gone sour.
I mean he was a fool for getting involved with a student - but these girls need to wake up - why fall for your teacher???????? That is just wrong. And grant it the teachers are in power and should walk away from this type of temptation. So for r that he deserves to be punished, but rape I don't think so.

I am assuming that you're talking about a current relationship and not a relationship at 15 because a 15 year old does not have relationships with her adult teachers.
If what you believe jdcw is true then he was CRIMINAL for getting involved with a student.

There should be a shorter statue of limitations on rape cases. If you dont come forward, oh well, your loss. I am sick of hearing of people coming forward after 5+ years. It is way too late by then, no evidence, no case, bottom line why wait 6 years? Unless you have a personal agenda or maybe she is just a liar. Either way if he is found not guilty she should have to do the time he would have been sentenced. I find it really really really really hard to believe that a girl would let something like rape go for 6 years. If it did happen and she is telling the truth, she still is an idioit and thats the bottom line.

If she is worried about her sister...what a bunch of crappolla...If she didn't like what was happening to her...she wouldn't have gone back for seconds...thirds...fourth....she needs to be penalized for not saying anything from the beginning...i say ...she wasn't a victim...but...the teacher might have dumped her and she feels this is the way to get even...it's too late WOMAN...it should have been said when she was a GIRL....

I find the long wait pretty strange too. 5 years ??? to come forward. But, who really knows the whole story but her and the accused! I sure can't speculate on the unknown.

Now I understand why girls/women don't report rapes. Because they are not taken seriously and because they are so traumatized that they simply can't. Perhaps some of you would understand rape better if you read the statistics on it and how difficult it is to get a victim to report it let alone get the rapist convicted. This cannot be easy for this young woman and none of us know what it took to report this crime. I think bail should be set much higher so that the community is aware that this is a crime that is taken seriously. Hopefully, compassion will be shown for the victim.

I can very easily see a young woman waiting years to bring this up. There are many girls out there that don't have the self esteem to stand up for themselves. They are subject to all kinds of physical and emotional abuse and they internalize the damage and withdraw. If for some reason this woman received counseling and her self esteem rose she may very well come forward. Or her fear for her sister could have set it off. Either way I can see it taking years to come up.
However, I don't know the facts just like the other posters don't know the facts. Either of these folks could be lying or the truth could be somewhere in the middle. But please don't discount her words just because it has been 5 years.

What is really awful is that all of are assuming that he is guilty. What most people don't realize is that when you are a guy, all it takes is an allegation to get you lableled and outkasted from your job, family, and anything else you belong to. It doesn't matter if you did it or not, everyone is going to remember you becasue of what you were accused of.
Now...if he had any type of sexual involvement with this girl he should go to jail. He may have done it to multiple students and she's the only one to have come forward. It is going to be really hard to prove 5 years ater the fact though.

Great Birthday Picture

I wanted to share a picture I really liked from my Birthday party!

The Best Fast Food Meals Under 500 Calories

Arby's

Chicken Fillet Sandwich - Roastwith Applesauce and a 20-oz Diet Peach FruiTea470 calories 16 g fat (3 g saturated)934 mg sodium
Replacing some of your daily carbohydrates with protein can lower blood pressure. Opt for a roasted or grilled chicken over "cripsy" (read: fried) to lower your calorie count.

Burger King

Whopper Jr. without Mayowith Garden Salad and 10-oz Minute Maid Orange Juice445 calories12 g fat (4.5 g saturated fat)520 mg sodium
Save 9 grams of fat by opting for barbecue sauce instead of mayo. At 80 calories a packet, BK’s mayo is one of the worst in the fast food world. Still feeling hungry after the last bite? Order a second Garden Salad. You’ll still take in fewer calories than if you'd inhaled a small order of fries.

Dunkin Donut's

Ham, Egg & Cheese English Muffin Sandwichwith English Breakfast Tea350 calories15 g fat (6 g saturated)1,040 mg sodium
English muffins have a fraction of the carbohydrates of a bagel, and none of the trans fats of the donuts and croissants. Drinking antioxidant-rich tea is also a great way to jumpstart your day.

KFC

3 Crispy Stripswith Green Beans and 3” Corn on the Cob, and a Medium Diet Pepsi475 calories22.5 g fat (6 g saturated fat)1,165 mg sodium
Order a side of green beans for a good source of vitamins K, A, and C—key players in maintaining strong bones and reducing cancer-causing free radicals.

McDonalds

Premium Grilled Chicken Classic Sandwichwith a Side Salad with Newman's Own Low Fat Balsamic Vinaigrette, and a Medium Iced Tea480 calories13 g fat (2 g saturated fat)1,945 mg sodium
Just because the calorie count is relatively low doesn't mean the food is good for you. Mac's Grilled Chicken Classic Sandwich matches the Quarter Pounder calorie count--but the chicken has no trans fats, while the burger does. Choose the sandwich and side salad for a good combination of protein and veggies.

Pizza Hut

Two Slices Thin ‘N Crispy Pizza (12”) with Quartered Ham & Pineapple, and Medium Diet Coke360 calories12 g fat (5 g saturated fat)1,110 mg sodium
No matter which pizza joint you pick, head for Hawaii. The ham and pineapple pizza is one of hte healthiest combos you can order. Ham is the leanest meat you can put on a pie, while pineapple adds low-cal sweetness and a dose of antioxidants.

Quizno's

Small Honey Bourbon Chickenwith a Cup of Chili (no crackers), and bottle of water460 calories11.5 g fat (2.5 g saturated fat)1,540 mg sodium
Opt for the honey bourbon mustard sauce over mayo or creamy dressings to add flavor without guilt.

Subway

6-inch Double Roast Beef Subwith Veggie Delite Salad with Fat-Free Italian Dressing and Medium Iced Tea455 calories8 g fat (3.5 g saturated fat)2,100 mg sodium
Even with twice the meat—and double the protein—this sandwich still has only a fraction of the fat found in Subway alternatives like gloppy, mayo-based tuna salad.

Taco Bell

Two Fresco Soft Beef Tacoswith Mexican Rice and a bottle of water470 calories17 g fat (6 g saturated fat)1,760 mg sodium
Order almost any menu item “fresco” style and the Bell boys will replace cheese and sauces with a chunky tomato salsa, cutting calories and fat by at least 25 percent.

Wendy's

Ultimate Chicken Grill Sandwichwith a Mandarin Orange Cup and a small nestea Sweetened Iced Tea480 calories7 g fat (1.5 g saturated fat)980 mg sodium
This is the healthiest sandwich on the menu. Don’t order your chicken spicy: That’s their cue to fry rather than grill your bird, tacking on extra 9.5 fat grams.

Tony Maloneys - North Royalton

Last night we had dinner Tony Maloneys located where Blue Moose Saloon used to be on Sprague Rd. My first impression upon entering was how much smaller it is now then when it was Blue Moose but the decor was really nice. They put up a wall and made the area they used to have a dance floor and bands play into a Antonio's pizza which had us wondering if that meant Tony Maloney's served Antonio's pizza because if it did we where very excited. If you have not tried Antonio's pizza you have no idea what you are missing out on it is fabulous! To our excitement they did serve Antonio's, Tony Maloney's is a Pub and Pizza place which meant we could enjoy good pizza and still watch the game.

After a short wait to be seated we got a seat and was immediately served our beverages and upon her return asked about appetizers. We decided on Garlic Bread with Cheese and Pepperoni rolls. We also ordered a large salad to share, now if you have never had Antonio's salad it is also delicious! So the appetizers and salad arrive rather quickly but not to quickly that you know its not fresh! Now I was beginning to recognize at this point how wonderful our server was our glasses never where getting empty and she was very personable and attentive. Also the manager came over and asked how our meal was going as well, she also recognized Matt so she wanted to say hello to him as well. Now as if it was clockwork our appetizers and salad was complete and the just right amount of settle time our pizza arrived.

We got the Capriciosa Pizza which a meat supreme pizza, it has ham, bacon, pepperoni, and Italian sausage on it. It was cooked perfect and tasted great! They have the right amount of cheese and large pieces of meat on the pizza. It was fantastic and the large pizza was so big we had enough for dinner last night for three and enough for lunch for three today as well. I should say five people since Matt normally as a bottomless stomach an eats for like three people and he was full! It was a all around success and enjoyed by all.

Our server continued to be on top of her game always on time for a refill and clearing off our plates in a timely manner. I was very impressed and pleased by the service she gave our table. I would have to say one of the best servers I've had in a while!

So I guess its not to hard to guess that I gave Tony Maloneys a FIVE on the Nina Scale of dining! I need some catchy 1-5 thing like stars but not stars! I need some advice on that! However I suggest while thinking you all go check out Tony Maloneys and if you need company when going you know who to call!

My American Family

I received a random e-mail today from some religious group wanting me to sign some petition against the latest Family Guy episode because they did a sketch about injecting someone with the Gay gene there for implying that Homosexuality is something you are born with and not a choice as the people who published this e-mail believe. They then went on to say that thoughts like this are ruining "The American Family"! Every time I hear that quote I want to scream! I would like to know where the definition of "The American Family" is printed! Who are they to decided what "The American Family" is? Now I would like to write those people back and inform them that their hate for that they which they do not understand or which is different from them is something that is ruining "My American Family"!

I cannot even begin to rationalize their thoughts because the God I worship and the Bible I own speaks of loving one another and if they truly believe homosexuality is a sin then you entitled to your opinion how ever insane as it maybe but the Bible I own says that "He who is with sin cast the first stone"! Now last time I checked no person is with out sin so there for those who run around bashing homosexuality and doing hate crimes against them in the name of God are sinning. They are not spreading peace or even doing God's work because anytime hate is in your heart you are not doing the work of our Lord.

With that being said I have decided that all those people who use religion as a shield or a tool to spread their hate are corrupting my American Family! My American Family realizes that all people regardless of race, sexual orientation, religion, and all other things that make people different from me are equal. My American Family knows that homosexuality is the way you are born not something you choose. My American Family does not appreciate the signs and protests of those who attack others for being different then them. My American Family does not want to read your literature about how you you believe its supposed to be Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. They claim that homosexuality is coming into the nations home and ruining the American Family well the only unwanted person and ideas that I see coming across into the nations homes are their ideas. So its them who is ruining the American Family they are spreading such hate for homosexuality they are pulling fathers away from their gay sons, mothers away from their lesbian daughters. They are having families separated for years over this issue or children who never tell their families who they really are so they just pull away from them to hide the truth to save from losing them all together.

So last time I checked homosexual males and females are just trying to live their life with the same as heterosexual males and females. They deserve and are asking for equal rights but that is all they are not taking to the streets trying to recruit more people to homosexuality. Why? Because they know it's how you are born not something you can choose but that is beside the point the people taking to the street and spreading hate and intolerance is those who are spreading hate for homosexuality. So next time you go to send a e-mail or feel like spreading your ignorance ask yourself the last time you remember a homosexual male or female coming up to you trying to get you to experiment with homosexuality! Since that never happens remember that before you try to go out and disrupt their life that they never come to and disrupt yours.

All Good Things Must End….

My Birthday Month has officially come to an end and I have to say that it was the best Birthday I’ve had in a long time! My family and friends did a wonderful job at making my 27th Birthday amazing. Also Keith was the best boyfriend ever and went along with the whole month of activities with a smile and went above and beyond to make it a birthday to remember.

First I would like to thank all my family and friends that made it to my birthday party! Each one of you played a part in making it truly special.
Michelle was so helpful in planning with Keith and getting food together and inviting people. She made sure to get all of my favorite things. I’m so glad Miranda that you where able to come up with her since I have not see you in such a long time. It was great to see and hang out with you again.
Leslie, Dale, Tiff, Travis, James, and Donnie coming up from T-County to celebrate with me especially Leslie being here at 8 months pregnant! I think we came super close to beating the McMillan Brothers at Catch Phrase and I think we can do it if we got a another chance! James thanks for bringing up the pizza it made unintentional T-County food theme complete. Tiff and Leslie it’s so fantastic that this is the 22 Birthday of mine we have celebrated together.
Mo thank you for coming to celebrate my birthday with me and being there to help set up and even deal with the overwhelming smells of all things you wont eat! Also my birthday massage was fantastic! Its very nice to have a friend who is a masseuse! As always we did the night right with vodka and good friends!
Amy, Brian, Paul, Amada, Lucas, Jim, Mariea, Aurora, and Jeanette it was so great you all came to celebrate my birthday with me and I have really appreciated the warm welcome you all have given me and how you all have made me feel very comfortable with you all in your group of friends. Also thank you all very much for your gifts Keith and I are putting them to good use and will be picking up our Wii on Thursday! I’m super excited and may not leave the house for a few days! LOL! I also have to thank you all for all the delicious food you guys brought an all my old friends really enjoyed that as well.
Lindsay and Todd I’m so glad you guys where able to make it and I love how well you know me an knew the exactly perfect gifts for me! It’s as if we have been friends for years! I also enjoy the hours of amusement we can have with just a little catch phrase. You will be happy to know that we do not only own Catch Phrase part II but we also have the first addition now too!
Greg and Robin again I have to thank the two of you for welcoming me in as a new friend when meeting the two of you and for coming to share my birthday with me!
Terri, Penny and Dakota I’m very excited you made the T-County trip as well and where able to celebrate my birthday with me. In true Terri and Penny fashion you guys disappeared at one time and I was reminded of being left at the pool but hey this time you left me with great wine so I was set! Hehe!
Ruth It was so great you made the trip over for my birthday after all these years since we’ve last seen each other I really appreciated you coming and being able to see and catch up with you!
Nicole and Andy hanging out with the two of you is always hours of fun and full of memories that will last forever. I’m so glad you guys made it and even with Nicole feeling so sick you lasted till the end of the night. Also showing up with a bottle of vodka for me is always a nice touch! Hehe!
Mertel I am very glad we got to celebrate our birthdays together and I hope you had as great of a time as I did. I think we did a great job of making sure our glasses where always full and that fun times where being had all night.
Kevin you have from the moment I met you made me feel very welcome and have continued to amaze me with how attentive you are in noticing and remembering what I like. You went out of your way for my birthday in making my special. The spinach balls tasted great as always and definitely where enjoyed by many. Also the picture frame is beautiful and I love it!

Mom, Mark, Mema, PapPap, Aunt Rita and Uncle George thank you all for the cards and gifts you sent me. I wish you all didn’t live so far away so I could celebrate with you. Aunt Rita you personalized note you included in my card was so sweet and it really touched me! I’m very glad that my birth was able to make such a horrible time in your guys live a little more bearable. I know that every year on my Birthday regardless of how happy an occasion it is I will always hold a little sadness that I was never able to meet Great Grandpa Wensing especially after all the incredible stories I’ve heard about him and how I’ve heard of how excited he was to meet me. I believe that he is my guardian angel and even though I never met him on earth that I’ve spent 27 years with him watching over me and loving me from heaven. Mom you always send me such wonderful gifts and even though for years we have differed in our sense of fashion you have gotten very good and finding a good middle ground that we both like when shopping for me.

Dad thank you very much for taking Keith, Matt and I out to dinner to celebrate my birthday and thank you for your gift as soon as I can find a Wii Fit it will be purchased with that money like I said. I am very thankful to have you close to me and am thankful you always take time out of your very busy work schedule to drive up here take me out to dinner to make my birthday special. Even though you like to embarrass me with your stories of my childhood I wouldn’t have it any other way. Matt you always make me smile and I am always thankful for the time we spend together.

Andreana, Sasha, and Serge I am so glad Keith and I got to go have a great birthday lunch with you guys. Aladdin’s food was delicious as usual and even though the service was slow it gave us all a chance to sit around and laugh and talk something we haven’t got to do very often lately. Thank you guys also for the gift card you three also helped with the Wii fun that will beginning on Thursday. I have to tell you all missed out by not getting any of that cake cause it was so freaking good just thinking about it now is making me very excited.

I also want to thank all my family and friends who called, texted and sent me messages online on my birthday they all where very special to me.

Lastly I have to thank my sensational boyfriend and I couldn’t put him in one category to thank him since he was at everyone. I do not know where to even begin you went so above and beyond for my birthday from organizing and throwing me a fantastic birthday party to making me that romantic birthday dinner it was all so spectacular. You sat through me having you watch video’s of my birthdays through the years and got me those wonderful birthday gifts. You know me so well and I am so thankful to have you in my life. You even put up with the insanity of having a birthday that lasted a whole month. You made this a birthday to remember forever and I cannot wait to celebrate many more with you.
